From Mountains to Beach

You guys I am so lucky I get to do what I do for a living. This sweet family lives in Corpus Christi, Texas and hired me to be their photographer while they were visiting Colorado! They wanted a place that had gorgeous scenery and veiws of the Rocky Mountains.

The park we choose was perfect. The views were breathtaking and it was ideal for families with small children. The weather also didn't disappoint it was a beautiful Colorado day!

We wondered the park and got to know one another a bit throughout the session. Their daughter had just turned one and loved running the path and smiling for the camera.

The session couldn't have gone better. Towards the end we jokingly said see you in Texas next time. Little did I know this would come true! About 6 months later I found myself in my home town of San Antonio, Texas visiting some family.

As soon as I let Kaylea know I was in Texas we meet for a beach session. I was stoked, as we all know Colorado doesn't have a beach! Haha! The whole experience was amazing.

It was a beautiful day in Corpus. The humidity and heat definitely provided a different shooting experience all together. I ended up learning a ton and feel so lucky I had the opportunity to capture these. I mean come on, the same family in two settings. How cool, right?

Im so greatful to have worked with such an amazing family. Who knows where our next session will be. Maybe a third state? That would be amazing!
